Clearing the track at a NASCAR race can be hazardous. Even if the race cars are slowed to a crawl by a caution, there’s always the pesky angle of the track, which is far from a flat surface.
One official was reminded of that the hard way Sunday.
Late in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a member of the crew had to clear some debris off the track. It was all going fine until the official went to hop back in the truck.
Unfortunately for said official, his trip was caught on live TV and instantly appeared on YouTube videos, GIFs and Vines worldwide. We hope the official is OK — and that he has a sense of humor.
